Dr.
Chuck Baynard, Senior Pastor

Dr.
Chuck Baynard was born in Kings Mountain, NC but spent his childhood from
age four in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Prior to entering the ministry, he
ran his own business in Clover. He was ordained on October 23, 1993. Prior
to ordination he served several years as a Commissioned Lay Pastor with the
PC(USA), Bethel Presbytery and a licentiate of Mid Atlantic Presbytery, EPC.
He received his Bachelor of Theology from Bethany Bible College. He received
his Master of Ministry on May 4, 1992 from Bethany Theological Seminary;
graduating Summa Cum Laude in both his bachelor's and master's degrees. He
received his Doctor of Theology in the field of Pastoral Ministry on March
11, 2002 from Whitefield Theological Seminary - Graduate School of Theology.
Dr. and Mrs. Baynard successfully completed CPAC (Church Planters Assessment
Center) in January 1991. Dr. Baynard serves as an editor of the Christian
Observer and director of internet operations for the Observer. He is active
in the EPC Mid-Atlantic Presbytery. He is a member of the American
Association of Christian Counselors and The Evangelical Theological Society.
He is a professor of practical theology with Whitefield Theological
Seminary. He is also a Consultant on Theology and Confessions for the
Hungarian Reformed Church in America (Calvin Synod). Dr. Baynard was the
founding evangelist for Clover EPC and continues as senior pastor. Dr.
Baynard resides with his wife, Mollie, in Clover. His daughter, Beth, is the
Instructional Technology Specialist for the Clover School District and is
Director of Youth at Clover EPC. |

James Brown, Assistant Pastor |

Rev.
James E. Bucky Brown was born Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Augusta,
Georgia. He attended The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and
studied Russian in Russia during the summer of 1969 with the Foreign Study
League. He received a Bachelor of the Arts in Religion from Presbyterian
College, spending two summers in Israel studying under Dr. Joseph Gettys,
and three months at L'abri in Huemoz, Switzerland studying philosophy and
religion under Dr. Francis Schaffer. He served as full time youth
Minister at Aldersgate Methodist Church in Augusta, Ga. after college.
During seminary at Fuller Theological Seminary studying for his M.Div,. he
spent one summer at Regent College in Vancouver, BC and the following two
years at the Anglican Seminary called Trinity College Bristol, in Bristol,
England to study systematic theology under Dr. J. I. Packer. He met and
married his wife Judy Brown at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church in Beverly
Hills, California where he served as Asst. to the Minister for four years.
He was ordained in the EPC while beginning an eight year ministry as Senior
Pastor of Santa Maria Community Church in Santa Barbara County, California.
He then spent 4 years as Executive Pastor at Tabernacle EPC in Youngstown,
Ohio which also included serving in a coalition of Churches as a city wide
Christian Small Group Trainer , then three years as Senior Pastor at
Overbrook Community Church in Gaffney, SC followed by three and a half years
as the Director of Harbor of Hope, which is an interdenominational Christian
Homeless Shelter in Gaffney, SC, followed by nearly two years as Interim
Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church(LCMC) in Gaffney, SC. He was appointed
for 4 years by Gov. Hodges, and four more years by Gov. Sanford to the
Cherokee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, serving two years as
its chairman. Reverend Brown has served on various civic, ministerial, and
community boards in Cherokee and Spartanburg Counties in the past ten years.
He is currently serving on Limestone College Saints Club Board. He currently
owns and directs the Visiting Angels Franchise of Spartanburg, Cherokee, and
Union County which provides non medical in home care to the elderly and/ or
disabled. |

Mr.
Todd J. Goff, Director of Children's Ministries

| Mr. Todd J. Goff is originally
from Charleston, West Virginia. He moved to South Carolina in 1989
and attended Clover schools. Upon high school graduation, Todd went on to
Winthrop University to earn a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
Todd is a language arts and social studies teacher as well as LEGO League Program
Coordinator at Clover
Middle School. He previously taught at Rosewood Elementary
International School in
Rock Hill. While at
Winthrop, Todd has consistently made the Dean's List, as well as the National Dean's
List. Todd is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Pi Lambda Theta,
both of which are honor societies in education. Todd also graduated
Winthrop with honors. Todd has been the Director of Children's Ministries at
Clover EPC since November 2004. Before taking this position, Todd
taught students in elementary and middle school at Clover EPC for two
years. He also served as the Chair of the Board of Deacons at Clover
EPC (2003-2005). Before coming to Clover EPC, Todd was an active
member of youth at Bethel Baptist Church in Lake Wylie, SC. Todd spent
three years as an After School Counselor and Summer Preschool Counselor at
YMCA Camp Thunderbird in Lake Wylie, SC. Todd received the Christian
Emphasis Award for the After School Program at YMCA Camp Thunderbird in both
the Spring of 2004 and 2005. Todd also received the Christian Emphasis
Award in the Spring of 2005 from YMCA Camp Thunderbird. He resides in the
country on the outskirts of Clover city limits with his wife, Beth, and two pets, Hershey and Zoe. Todd is also an
ordained EPC Ruling Elder. |

Mrs.
Beth Goff, Director of Youth

| Mrs.
Beth Goff was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and has spent her entire
life in Clover. Beth attended Clover schools. Upon high school
graduation, Beth went on to Winthrop University to earn a Bachelor of
Science in Chemistry with a minor in Secondary Education.
Beth is the Instructional Technology Specialist for the Clover School
District. She was previously a science teacher at Clover High School. While at Winthrop, Beth was a member of four honor societies that
included Alpha Lamba Delta, Kappa Delta Pi, Phi Lamba Theta, and Phi Kappa Phi. Beth also
made the Dean's List on a consistent basis for high achievement in regard
to her studies. Also during her time at Winthrop, Beth spent time working
at YMCA Camp Thunderbird in Lake
Wylie, South Carolina as part of the After School Program. Beth received the Christian Leadership Award in 2003 from
the After School Program and the Christian Emphasis Award in 2004 from
YMCA Camp Thunderbird. Beth has been the Director of Youth at Clover EPC since 1996 and has
worked with youth of all ages at the church. Beth was previously a
Director of Music at Clover EPC. Beth resides in Clover with husband, Todd, and pets, Hershey and Zoe. |

Mr. Jody Burton, Director
of Music |

Mr. Jody
Burton has been a lifelong resident of Clover. Jody was born in York County
in 1962. Jody attended Clover Schools and graduated in 1981. Jody is married
to the former Dora Childers (Sissy) since 1984. They have four children:
Brian, A.J., Jonathan, and Dara (Shell). They have one daughter in law,
Tabitha, who is married to Brian, and one grandson, Trent. Jody and Sissy
are charter members of Clover EPC. Jody has served as a Ruling
Elder, the first Clerk of Session, and Director of Music since 2007. Jody
attended Charlotte Diesel Driving School . He currently employed by S.D.
Vanderlip Grading and Landscaping in Lake Wylie, S.C. as a truck driver and
heavy equipment operator. Jody is a member of State Line Vocal Connection as
a bass singer. This is a barber shop chorus. Jody currently resides in
Bethany with three of his children, wife and three dogs, Oscar, Gidget, and
Brooklyn. |
